Arundhati Roy :
We know that Arundhati Roy was most famous Indian English woman writer. Her full name was Suzanna Arundhati Roy. Arundhati Roy was well known Indian Author, Actress and political activist who was best known for the Award -Winning novel " The God of Small things "(1997) and for her involvement in environmental and human right causes.
Awards :
1. The Lannan Cultural Freedom Award in 2002.
2. The Sydney peace prize in 2004.
3. Sahitya Akademi Award.
Works of Arundhati Roy :
In addition to her novelist skills, Roy is widely known for political activism. She has published many works of nonfiction including several essays as well as,
- The End of Imagination (1998).
- The Greater common Good (1999).
- The cost of living (1999).

The God of small things is a most famous novel by Arundhati Roy. Set in a small town in India."The God of Small things" revolves around fraternal twins Rahel and Estha, who are separated for 23 years after the fateful hours in which their cousin drowns, their mothers affair is revealed, and her lover is murdered. This book has structure. Lots of it. She effectively creates a language of her own, a juvenile lucid language which complement the wistful mood of the book beautiful. The book is really big thing might be really funked up. Most of time the small things more than make up for it.

The ministry of utmost Happiness is the second novel by Arundhati Roy, published in 2017.The novel weaves together stories of people navigating some of the darkest and most violent episodes of modern Indian history, from land reform that dispossessed poor farmers to the 2002 Godhra train burning and Kashmir insurgency.
